Privacy Policy

IQ Max is made by SaaS Studio LLC ("we"). This policy explains what the IQ Max app and this website collect and why. We built IQ Max to collect as little as possible, and nothing it collects is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

What stays on your phone

Your name, your full game history, levels, streaks, badges and settings are stored on your device only.

What we collect

• An install identifier - a random ID your phone creates the first time you open IQ Max, plus a secret only your phone knows. Everything below is tied to this ID. We never ask for your email, and your name stays on your phone. The same ID is attached to your App Store purchases (as Apple's appAccountToken) so we can match a subscription to your install.
• Game and puzzle results - for each finished game: the game, its difficulty level, your score and accuracy; for each daily puzzle: whether you solved it, the number of tries and the score. We use them to show how you compare with other players and the daily puzzle stats.
• App usage - which screens and features you use (for example onboarding steps and the goals and choices you pick there, games started and finished, paywall views, puzzles shared and to which app), your plan status (free, trial or subscribed), and app version, device model, iOS version and language. We use it to understand what works and improve the app.
• Invite activity - which install invited which, when a code was used, and the App Store transaction ID of a friend's free trial, so we can confirm it with Apple and give you your free week.
• Notification token - if you allow notifications, a token that lets us tell you when an invite reward is ready.
• Abuse protection - a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to stop abuse of invite codes (we never store the IP address itself).

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. When a referral needs checking, our server asks Apple's App Store Server API about that single transaction.

Who processes it

Install, results and invite data are stored with our database provider, Supabase (United States). App usage events are processed by our analytics provider, Mixpanel (United States), which works out your approximate country and city from your IP address and does not keep the address. Both act only on our instructions.

What we don't do

No advertising, no ad tracking, no selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers or advertisers, no advertising identifier (IDFA).

Keeping and deleting data

We keep this data while your install is active and for up to 24 months after. You can delete the data on your phone at any time in Settings > Delete my data. To remove your server-side data too, email us your install ID (shown at the bottom of Settings) and we will delete it within 30 days.

Children

IQ Max is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
